Description:

Class management skills are skills that must be possessed and mastered by educators in the learning process. This research is motivated by a phenomenon that shows that the low quality of the learning process of students and the low skills of educators in classroom management. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence and the degree of influence of class management skills on the quality of the learning process in the high class. This research is a quantitative research using survey method. Determination of the number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula and obtained a sample of 108 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study use questionnaires. The results of the first hypothesis test with t test, obtained t count = 5.391> t table = 1.982 with a significance of 0.006 <0.05 means reject H0 and accept H1. Based on these data, it means that the variables of classroom management skills have a positive and significant effect on the quality variable of the learning process. The second test result with the coefficient of determination (R2), obtained an R value of 0.938, means that the correlation is very strong. As for the value of the coefficient of determination (R2), shows the R square number of 0.879 or 87.9%, meaning that the variation in the quality of the learning process can be explained by the variables of class management skills. The remaining 12.1% can be explained by other variables outside the research variable.
